This is in Sicamous B.C. in the mountains somewhere down some old logging road. Everyone had told me, that if I do exposures that are too long, they would never work out. I never really understood the moon was only reflected sunlight. If you get the moon behind you, even on the darkest nights, you can turn it in to day. This was my very first shot like this, done by mistake. I didn't know my pictures would turn out this way and from then on, I was hooked!
I used kodak film at 100 ISO with F8 on a 50mm lens and a 20 min exposure and the moon was full and at my back.
