 This is in the mountains near Sicamous. It was my first lightning shot. I had the shutter open and seen lightning in the distance and then closed the shutter. The best way to get lightning is to have your shutter open and then close it when it flashes.
I used fuji film at 400 ISO with F4 on a 28mm lens 5 min exposure.
